Procedure

1. Connect your DC power supply, capacitor, resistor and voltmeter all in parallel.
2. Adjust your power supply for a voltage of 5.00 V.
3. Simultaneously disconnect the power supply and start your stopwatch.
4. Take data every 10 seconds for at least three time constants.
5. Plot Voltage vs. time
6. Plot ln(V/V₀) vs. time. Determine the time constant and capacitance value from the slope of this plot and a measured value of resistance.
